Hi, everyone. I'm Bob Frazier. I've been a music public servant for 40 years. My career began in the 1950s, when I actively participated in the Civil Rights movement, touring with a number of bands on the “chitlin’ circuit” and at major festivals. I later produced a number of jazz shows, and played with the Eurythmics, Johnny Otis Band and other popular acts. I'm especially proud of my role as an Artist Facilitator in state prisons, and serving as a Teaching Artist in several local public schools where I developed curricula that integrated jazz with songwriting and Afro-Cuban drumming. I hold a BA in Music from the California Institute of the Arts.
