Thanks for the encouragement. It is inspiring to see there are so many people with the same dreams as me.

Thanks for welcoming me, Brighton.
Since I am occupied to the MAX right now, I'm going to opt out of receiving all communication from MNS except web site notices. I plan to check in weekly to stay informed and intend to continue spreading the good word on music national service. Ann

My cousin started playing guitar and by watching him I started dabbling again. I fell in love w/ it and have learned a lot. In addition to many other things, music has helped me make sense of life and see parallels in art.
It's pretty awesome that you live in San Fran. There must be a great deal of musicians to collaborate with.

I do not have video, but I will upload some pictures very soon on my website. Also, I heard there is some video with me with a performance I did with Brazilian and Bosnian musicians. I will find it out and forward it to you

Thanks Brighton, glad to connect with you!

Yes....have fun with Stax Records. A little dirtier, more raw sounding than Motown!

Thank you Brighton and for your friend request! You should definitely make plans to get down there next year because it's so fun and exciting that it'll make your head spin. Plus, you never know who you're going to run into.

Thanks Brighton, we are looking forward to working with you and the Music National Service to help promote music within our community. Please give us your support within our community for our week long annual music workshop, starting June 27 thru July 3, 2010. Looking forward to sending you information regarding this musical workshop. Thanks Pastor Larry Miles, Sr.

"Fellow Hoosier" ?? I've lived in this state only 2.5 years -- if you call it living. Looking so hard for paying work as a musician that I sent out resumes to six adjoining states. Plus this MusicianCorps thing. Not much of a blogger at my age... The important thing is, can a competent artist find WORK through this program?
