About me:: Compser and educator, based in Decorah, IA; teaches at Luther College, Lutheran Summer Music, and The Walden School

What does music mean to you?: Music is the source of nearly everything I do in both my professional and personal life. It brings me immense pleasure and fulfillment every day, and I can’t imagine my life without it.

Why is the music-based service movement important to you?: This is a new area of interest for me. My introduction to this organization came through Hernando Buitrago, a friend I recently met in New Hampshire at a music workshop.
