About me:
Chris Howarth is a lifelong musician and dedicated filmmaker. He works as a freelance videographer, graphic artist, and web designer where a number of his projects involve local Bay Area artists. Chris has been playing music in both an educational and professional setting for over 12 years. With bass being his usual instrument of choice, Chris likes to get involved with any number of musical activities including giving lessons and playing in bands. Majoring in Music Industry Management, Chris received his BS in Business from Ferris State University in Michigan.
What does music mean to you?
Music means everything.

This was our entry into the 2011 East Bay Express 24 Hour Film Festival and...We won!!! The requirements of the film included having an underlying theme of climate shift, use 7 provided props, include the line you hear at the beginning of the film, make it within 24 hours, and have it between 3 - 5 minutes in length.

Spent 2 weeks with Medea Sirkas documenting this legendary Bay Area dance group at Rock the School Bells 3 and Pro-Am International Hip Hop Conference.

A music video I worked on for my friend DB from Richmond California. DB wanted the video to be different from "traditional" rap videos and give a glimpse of his everyday life from his walk between home and work since these are the things he sees all the time that give him inspiration.
