Hi Eliot! I found Pauline in college, too, aaaaages ago! We had some wonderful composition and percussion faculty, and they hipped us to her, John Cage, Terry Riley, etc., and we had happenings and such on campus occasionally. For me it's one of the things music is all about: listening not just with the brain and ears but with the whole body.

not much as far as really big events. but whenever music is around I try to get everyone I know to experience it. Ive done just little things like make flyers and facebook events for local bands mostly. So as far as promoting, its not my job pursue, but i look at it as a duty =) music has healing powers you know?

hey eliot - thanks for your interest!  i just added a track to my page, it includes 4 discrete solo drum set performances based on variations of afro-latin clave patterns, influenced by the traditions of central/west africa, cuba, brazil, the U.S. and more.  i'm writing stuff for grant proposals to pursue these concepts further.  hope you enjoy the beatz!

hey eliot, nice meeting you man.  haha, i haven't spent any time on this website even though id love to help out sometime.  it's just that ive got a full time job at the moment..  but yes, the church and music are definitely two major streams in my life.  i love how music connects people together.  that's the biggest thing.  additionally, i think that music has the power to heal.  some of my thoughts..  what about you man?
